Our History

Decades of Community, Connection, and Cold Drinks

Village Tavern has been a fixture in Hubbard since the early 1940s back when handshakes sealed deals, bar stools were full of local stories, and a good drink didn’t cost you a fortune. Originally opened as a neighborhood watering hole, the building has seen decades of change while remaining a place where people gather, laugh, and connect.

Through generations, it’s remained a true local hangout. These incredible photos offer a window into the past from original bar scenes and construction to familiar faces that helped build the spirit of this place.
